Shopping at Plaza de San Jacinto

This morning we drove to another municipality, Alvaro Obregón, to the Plaza de San Jacinto that has a very large market/Art Fair every Saturday. We started with coffee and some pastries before beginning to explore the art and beautiful traditional crafts.

Mariana ordered a Tumeric Latte.

The weather is the perfect temperature!

Greg and Andrew waiting for the shoppers 😀

Later, we went to Mariana’s grandparents’ home where they served a feast of traditional Mexican dishes. We met Mariana’s mom, her grandparents, a cousin and his partner.

Her family was warm and welcoming - luckily, their English was much better than Greg and my Spanish!
